“Beast Mode”
“Go hard or go home.”
“Fear No Workout”
“Destroy Every Rep & Set”
“No pain. No Gain.”
How many times have you seen these quotes thrown around, especially around the subject of getting slim? Maybe you have used them?
We know we have before!
But we know people who train their asses off (way more than we do) 4-5 times a week, bashing hardcore sessions and churning through endless high-intensity workouts without hardly making any progress with their fitness levels or how they look.
Why is that? Why wouldn’t 4-5 sessions per week of gruelling sessions get you slim and attaining the body you want? You’d like to think you’d get some return from all of that effort, wouldn’t you?
Then, on the other hand, we have friends and clients who train moderately, 2-3 times a week at the most! And they look and feel like they are in the best shape of their lives 80-90% of the time.
It’s obvious that there is more to getting in shape than just killing yourself in the gym multiple times a week.
The secret?
Doing less
Less processed food, less stress, less hardcore workouts, less boozing, less social media, less self-criticising, less comparing, less trying to out-train a highly stressful and unhealthy lifestyle.
At Inspirit Retreat, our programs are all now putting an even bigger focus on improving clients:
- Digestion
- Immune System
- Heart Rate Variability
- Resting Heart Rate
- Blood Pressure
- Blood glucose levels
- Sleep
Improve these variables, and you just function ‘better’ as a human, whether you’re a mother, father, brother, sister, aunt, uncle…
